Courtney Kobren is an attorney at Mizrahi Kroub LLP's New York office, where she advocates for the rights of individuals pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, the New York City Human Rights Law and New York labor law.  Before joining Mizrahi Kroub LLP, Courtney was a corporate attorney at an international law firm focusing on capital markets and environmental, social and governance work.

During law school, Courtney participated in Duke Law's Children’s Law Clinic, where she provided free legal advice, advocacy and legal representation to low-income, at-risk children in special education proceedings. Courtney was a Staff Editor for the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law, where she published an international comparative law note on consumer bankruptcy filing processes in the United States and United Kingdom. Courtney also interned at New York Legal Assistance Group in the Special Education Unit. While pursuing her Master of Sciences at the London School of Economics, Courtney researched and wrote an international comparative policy dissertation about access to education for students with disabilities in the United States and Sweden.
