Erin Kelley
Erin Kelley is a civil rights litigator at Mizrahi Kroub LLP where she advocates on behalf of individuals who have experienced discrimination. Ms. Kelley has extensive experience representing clients in disability rights and education rights cases.
Prior to joining Mizrahi Kroub LLP, Ms. Kelley was successful in ensuring that New York students received a free appropriate public education. Through her work representing parents in special education proceedings, Ms. Kelley obtained Independent Educational Evaluations, private school placements (paid for by the school district), compensatory services, and other benefits for students with learning disabilities.
Ms. Kelley received her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While there, she dedicated herself to disability rights, education rights, and the rights of children generally. Ms. Kelley externed at the Children’s Law Center of California, the Lanterman Special Education Law Clinic, Disability Rights Advocates, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Kelley also served as a Senior Production Editor on the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice (“RLSJ”). Ms. Kelley is the author of “‘Certain Minimum Requirements’: An Unaccompanied Minor Child’s Right to Education in Federal Immigration Facilities.”
